Se dio a conocer mundialmente al mismo tiempo que su compatriota Krzysztof Kie\u015blowski, para cuyas pel\u00edculas <em>La doble vida de Ver\u00f3nica <\/em>y, sobre todo, la trilog\u00eda <em>Tres colores<\/em> \u2013<em>Azul<\/em>, <em>Blanco <\/em>y <em>Rojo<\/em>\u2013 cre\u00f3 bandas sonoras inolvidables. Fue as\u00ed como lo conoci\u00f3 musicalmente Fernando Trueba para que compusiera las bandas sonoras de <em>La reina de Espa\u00f1a<\/em> y, recientemente, <em>El olvido que seremos<\/em>, estrenada hace unos meses.
