La breve pieza fue incluida por Stanley Kubrick en la banda sonora de su pel\u00edcula <em>2001: Odisea del espacio<\/em>\u00a0(1968), sin haber contado con permiso del autor, pero sirvi\u00f3 para popularizar el nombre del compositor, situ\u00e1ndolo como uno de los grandes nombres de la m\u00fasica cl\u00e1sica del siglo XX.<\/p>\n<p>La obra hab\u00eda sido encargada por la S\u00fcdwestrundfunk o SWR (Radiodifusi\u00f3n del Suroeste), una de las principales emisoras p\u00fablicas de radio y televisi\u00f3n de Alemania, y se estren\u00f3 mundialmente el 22 de octubre de 1961 en el Festival de Donaueschngen, con Hans Rosbaud dirigiendo a la Orquesta Sinf\u00f3nica de la SWF. Despu\u00e9s de <em>Apariciones<\/em>\u00a0(1958-59), fue la segunda pieza que Ligeti compuso para explorar lo que \u00e9l denominaba texturas \u201cmicropolif\u00f3nica\u201d.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>60\u00ba aniversario del estreno de \u00abAtmosph\u00e8res\u00bb.
