Los d\u00edas 5 y 6 de noviembre, a las 19:00, Ad\u00e8s dirigir\u00e1 sendos conciertos al frente de la Orquesta Sinf\u00f3nica de Barcelona y Nacional de Catalu\u00f1a (OBC) para dirigir un programa que incluye el estreno en Espa\u00f1a de su concierto para viol\u00edn <em>M\u00e4rchent\u00e4nze<\/em>, con el violinista finland\u00e9s Pekka Kuusisto como solista. El programa se completa con otra pieza de Ad\u00e8s, <em>Hotel Suite<\/em>, una suite orquestal realizada a partir de su \u00f3pera de c\u00e1mara en dos actos <em>Powder Her Face<\/em>, adem\u00e1s de <em>Mephisto Waltz n\u00ba 1, Der Tanz in der Dorfschenke<\/em> (El baile en la taberna del pueblo), de Liszt, y la suite del ballet <em>Les biches<\/em>\u00a0de Francis Poulenc. Seguidamente, el 9 de noviembre, Thomas Ad\u00e8s actuar\u00e1 como pianista acompa\u00f1ante del tenor Ian Bostridge, interpretando los 24 lieder de los <em>Winterreise<\/em>\u00a0de Schubert.<\/p>\n<p>The British pianist, composer and conductor Thomas Ad\u00e8s is the guest of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.auditori.cat\/es\/una-semana-en-lauditori-con-thomas-ades\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Auditori<\/a> de Catalunya this week, in which he will be showing all these aspects of his musical work. On 5 and 6 November, at 19:00, Ad\u00e8s will conduct two concerts in front of the Orquesta Sinf\u00f3nica de Barcelona y Nacional de Catalu\u00f1a (OBC) to conduct a programme that includes the Spanish premiere of his violin concerto <em>M\u00e4rchent\u00e4nze<\/em>, with the Finnish violinist Pekka Kuusisto as soloist. The programme is completed with another piece by Ad\u00e8s, <em>Hotel Suite<\/em>, an orchestral suite based on his two-act chamber opera <em>Powder Her Face<\/em>, as well as Liszt&#8217;s <em>Mephisto Waltz No. 1, Der Tanz in der Dorfschenke<\/em> (The Dance in the Village Tavern) and the suite from the ballet <em>Les biches<\/em>\u00a0by Francis Poulenc.
