The tenth edition of the Mixtur Festival begins.

The tenth edition of the Festival Mixtur (Festival de Nova Creació Sonora de Barcelona) begins today with the inauguration of the sound installation that has been installed in the Fabra i Coats space. In addition to lectures, master classes, round tables and educational activities, the festival will offer a series of concerts, starting tomorrow, Friday 1 October, with a concert by the German Ensemble Garage, with compositions by Piyawat Loullarpprasert from Thailand, the Germans Carola Bauckholt, Brigitta Muntendorf and Michael Bell, the Greek Ioannis Angelakis and the Spaniards Itziar Viloria and Francisco Domínguez.
