Thomas Adès premieres his new symphony.

British pianist, conductor and Composer Thomas Adès premiered Symphony of the Exterminating Angel – an orchestral version in four movements of the music from his opera of the same title, premiered in 2016 in Salzburgerfestspiele and based on Luis Buñuel’s film The Exterminating Angel– on 4 August at the Symphony Hall in Birmingham.
