“Neguentropia”, by Mecánica Popular.
A musician specialising in Andalusian and medieval music (Luis Delgado) and a producer (Eugenio Muñoz) who has worked with almost everyone in Spanish music (from Hombres G to Rosendo) got together thirty years ago to create two mythical records of avant-garde electronic music. Twenty years after their last record, they return with a third album outside the margins: it is neither nihilistic noise (a la Merzbow or Alec Empire) nor is it silly boom boom of simple electronic music. It is the authentic organisation of chaos. Machine rhythms to listen to without making your ears bleed and the confirmation that man is still capable of continuing to invent new things.
