“Antiphonals”, by Sarah Davachi.
Canadian (Iranian-born) Sarah Davachi has been described as “a hybrid between Éliane Radigue and Terry Riley”. With an extensive discography (she now has her own label, Late Music), which she has been releasing since her debut in 2013, Davachi, a pianist (and philosopher) by training, has dedicated the last ten years to research in the fields of electroacoustic music, drone, ambient and minimalism. On the Rockdelux website you can read my review of her latest album, Antiphonals.
