Sergey Filatov, “Artist of the Year” in Russia.

Russian artist and musician Sergey Filatov has been named “Artist of the Year” in the 2021 edition of the Innovation prize awarded by the Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts since 2005. Filatov was the winner for his art project The Garden of Elusive Sonorities: Sound Architecture, which was exhibited from November 2020 to January 2021 at the Novosibirsk State Art Museum . Filatov is a creator of musical instruments and sound sculptures. The exhibition featured reconstructions of the artist’s old works and specially created sound sculptures, generating an absolute sound installation.
